PROJECT OVERVIEW
Designed for a private equity corporate flight team, the complex consists of:
- Secure and quiet executive hangar space.
- Two stories of private office and lounge space.
Centrex set an early guaranteed maximum price, compared hybrid tilt-up/PEMB vs. all-metal designs, and delivered full design, construction, and sublease support.

Lounge and office design features a dry-stack stone fireplace and rich wood finishes, evoking the feeling of an upscale mountain lodge while blending comfort with a direct view into the hangar beyond.

A high-gloss polished concrete floor adds durability and easy maintenance while reflecting light to brighten the hangar and showcase the aircraft.

A 42,000 SF pre-engineered metal building featuring concrete tilt-wall construction for the building shell.

The project included 32,600 SF of concrete ramp paving, 14,000 SF of asphalt for taxi lanes and parking, and site utilities with electrical vaults, static tank systems, and 200+ LF of stormwater infrastructure.

Aviation-inspired lounge featuring a custom mural of a WWII bomber and shuffleboard table, creating a relaxed space that blends history, recreation, and comfort.

AURORA AIRPORT
Aurora State Airport (KUAO), also known as Wes Lematta Field, is a busy general aviation hub located just north of Aurora, Oregon, and operated by the Oregon Department of Aviation. Originally built in 1943 as a WWII auxiliary field, it now supports nearly 95,000 annual operations, making it one of the state’s top four busiest airports. The facility features a 5,004-foot runway, a control tower with Class D airspace, and is home to more than 270 based aircraft. Aurora hosts several FBOs and major aviation businesses, including Van’s Aircraft, Columbia Helicopters, and Life Flight Network, and serves as a key training and corporate aviation center. A 20-year master plan is underway, with a full runway rehabilitation scheduled for 2025, reflecting the airport’s growing importance to Oregon’s aviation network.
