PROJECT OVERVIEW
Centrex is delivering a private aviation complex for an undisclosed company and its flight department:
-
24,500 SF hangar.
-
2,000 SF of executive and aviation offices across two levels, featuring a custom galley, conference room, pilot and flight offices, and dedicated equipment/tool storage.
Centrex provided full design and construction services.

This future-ready aviation facility combines a modern hangar with executive offices that offer panoramic runway views, framed by striking two-story glass curtain walls.

Polished and prepared for arrival — this pristine concrete floor, warmed with radiant tube heating, flows seamlessly to the full-span, 28-foot bi-parting hangar doors.

Framing complete, glass walls in place, and finishing touches underway — this space is transforming quickly into a modern, light-filled office.

A rendering of a thoughtfully designed executive lounge and workspace with expansive airfield views.

AURORA AIRPORT
Aurora State Airport (KUAO), also known as Wes Lematta Field, is a busy general aviation hub located just north of Aurora, Oregon, and operated by the Oregon Department of Aviation. Originally built in 1943 as a WWII auxiliary field, it now supports nearly 95,000 annual operations, making it one of the state’s top four busiest airports. The facility features a 5,004-foot runway, a control tower with Class D airspace, and is home to more than 270 based aircraft. Aurora hosts several FBOs and major aviation businesses, including Van’s Aircraft, Columbia Helicopters, and Life Flight Network, and serves as a key training and corporate aviation center. A 20-year master plan is underway, with a full runway rehabilitation scheduled for 2025, reflecting the airport’s growing importance to Oregon’s aviation network.
